Hey,
We have Backup Exec 11d SP1 running on Windows 2003 R2 SP2 with a Quantum SDLT drive attached. Most tapes we use are fine and are automatically recognised and imported when inserted.
Problem is that when I insert some tapes - brand new, never used - they are not recognised. I try an "Inventory" and get an error:
Final error: 0x15 - The device is not ready.
Final error category: Other Errors
Completed status: Failed
Some tapes will work, others won't. If a tape is recognised, then weverything works absolutely fine.
Is this a hardware issue or software?
