2 backup jobs on 2 tape drives. Configuration question.

Ok, I'm running BE 9.1 on a Win2k Sp4 server and the jobs run fine except for the occasional exception error.

My problem is this: My tape unit is a Compaq MSL5026 and it has 2 tape drives in it and I'm wondering how to configure my jobs so that Week1 records on 1 drive and Week2 records on another.

I've tried using the calendar to schedule week1 jobs every other week and then run week2 jobs on the opposite weeks but that only works for a month and then because BE uses a 5 week calendar, on week 6 both jobs try to run.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

Why do you care which drive a job uses, as long as the tape winds up in the correct media set?

Is it to equalize useage and thus wear on the drive?
