A Communication Failure has Occurred

I have just pushed Backup Exec to a 2008 server and I am not able to see the directories, or Drive Letters.  I am able to see the shares on but receive the following message:

An error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of ___. A communication failure has occurred.

 

I would also like to point out that I have hand carried the Backup Exec over and installed it to the server.

I have all of the current updates on the server.

Has any one seen any thing like this or have enven a theory on the issue.  any assistance would be helpfull.

Has there been any resolve to this?  I'm experiencing this issue when attempting to add any share.  I have BEWS 12.5 on Windows 2003.
