Access denied

I am running Backup Exec 9.1 Small Business Suite, it is fully patched. I recently upgraded my SBS server to SBS SP1, from that point on my backup has failed everynight saying access was denied to the remote agent. I did not change any passwords during the SP1 install. Is there someting in SBS SP1 that changes access for Backup Exec?

Thanks.

Hello Tim
Can you tell us a bit more in detail about your Problem.
- What is the exact error message?
- Is it a local or a rmeote backup?
- If Remote, is the remote server in the smae domain?
- Did you do any other changes?

Hello Amruta,

The error message is:
0xa000fe29 - Authentication failed on connection to the server.

It is a local backup, I have one server and the tape drive and Backup Exec are on that server. The only changes I made was to upgrade to SBS service pack 1.

Thank you.

I had already applied the mentioned patches. My login account is exactly the same as before we went to SBS SP1. This is becoming extrememly frustrating. What other info can I provide so we can fix this and start getting backups again???

Hello,

Have you installed BE v9.1 SP3?

Are you getting any error in the application event log?
