Access is denied running bemcmd

Dear all,

I am trying to run the bemcmd applet on windows xp pro. I've given up running my real job 'till I get a basic "bemcmd -?" to run. It will only run if I am in the installation direcory or unless I include the full path in the command. I have the install location in my system path. I have read & execute access to the directory.

Only if I log in as the local Administrator does the bemcmd -? run.

Please help.

Hi Captain Jim,

In order for the bemcmd to run the Backup Exec service account needs to be log into the server.

System logon account.
