Added new HP SCSI Tape Drive...issues.

We had to swap out our Hp LTO4 SCSI tape drive.  After inserting the new device we firtsly got a serial number error message.  We needed to restart all the Backup Exec services.  One kept hanging se server had to be restarted.  Now it still seems that Exec is "seeing " the old device as all the stats for it is stil there.  We cannot run any backups.  Not sure what to do next...

You have to re-target every job to the new device by edituing the job properties

Once that is done you shoudl be able to delete the old device from teh devcies screen - note if the Delet ooption is greyed out on the old device, then try selecting the online option and accepting the warning message - which should then free up the delete option.
