Added second tape drive; Device queued

Hey all,

I added a second tape drive to my tape library. I decided to do some basic testing to determine how to utilize it at the same time as my other one.

So, I created a partition per tape slot, and assigned the new tape drive to the slot.
when i attempt to run a job assigned to the partition it "Queued". So, I re-assign the original tape drive, and the job works.

I cannot see in the software any differences in the tape drives (enabled, online, etc)
Can anyone tell me what to do? I've attempted a basic restart of the services, but that was unsuccessful.

Hi,

Have you also installed the Library expansion option(LEO)? For every extra drive in the library, one needs to install the LEO for each extra tapedrive!

Yes, I purchased and isntalled the LEO.

I also reboot the server last night, since it's resolved this for me in a single drive system previously. I re-ran the device setup wizard. Everything looks great.

But that drive continuously goes into "Queued" on jobs.
