Adding remote agent outside immediate network

I am trying to add one of our servers that sits outside of our internal network. I previously had this server included in the remote agent of Backup Exec 9.1 but I had to format our server, so I am reinstalling the software again. How would I access this server? (I cannot add the server using the server name nor the IP address)

Any ideas?

Thank you

You can run the setup(setupaa.cmd) locally on the Remote Server

Would I just copy the setupaa.cmd file over and run the batch file? If so, I tried this but I am unsure of what I need to do from here. Any other information about running this file would be wonderful. Thank you.

I have successfully installed the remote agent - via local installation.

But how would I create a backup job if I cannot see the server within Backup Exec?Message was edited by:

If you cannot browse to it through the All Networks\MS Networks branch, you can create a User Defined Share using the IP address of the remote server.

This has worked. Thank you.
