An internal error (-536837662) occurred in object 11

[BE_11_Problem]

Hi,
I have installed Backup Exec 11d on Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition without error.

Backup Exec uses existing SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition instance.

The Backup Exec DB has been created successfully during the installation (I can see this from SQL Server Enterprise Manager).

Now, the Backup Exec Server Service didn't start.
I have this error on my Application Log:

An internal error (-536837662) occurred in object 11.

I have already try with these documents but the problem persist.

Please check Windows Regional Settings.. set them English United States

This solved my problem.

Stop the SQL server BKUPEXEC service and then copy and paste the DATA folder to an

aletrnate location. The DATA folder is located at X:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec.

Copy bedb_dat.mdf and bedb_log.ldf to the desktop. Start the SQL server BKUPEXEC service

and then perform copy database using BEUtility.exe. Refer to the below article for copy database.

Note: Do make a copy of the DATA folder before performing copy database just to be on

safer side
