We have a RedHat 5.3 system that we thought was working fine. A little while later and it's giving us this error when we try to browse it from the Console to setup jobs.
"An error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of <ServerName>. An unknown error occurred within the NDMP subsystem."
I have already turned off ivp6 and restarted the Linux system. The firewall is currently off. netstat shows beremote as owning the ndmp port.
We have some CentOS boxes that seemed fine until the last round of updates (to CentOS). They don't give the same error but seem to have become unbrowseable too. This could be related to a system update but if so the RALUS client probably needs an update too.
