Does any body know if I there is any impact if i install Service Packs or hotfix to the SQL Server Backup Exec instance?
Or if you have a web link for the best practices to apply this task.

Hello,

I would recomend NOT to install any hotfix / patch for the SQL Express 2005 instance as its only used by Backup Exec software.
