Archive job will not delete files

I have created an archive job and set it to delete the files after a successful backup/verify. The job log shows everything was successful and all files have been deleted. However, the files do not get deleted. I check the tapes and it does appear that all files were backed-up properly.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for your question.

Please check the security for that particular file(s). Also check whether Backup exec user has Rights to delete the particular file(s).

You need to make the Backup exec user account member of,

1. Domain Administrator
2. Local Administrator

Please remove all the other groups membership for Backup exec user account.
