I am looking into formatting my HP VLS 6800 library system, and installing win2k3 64bit on it.
It'll have 5x MSA 20 storage arrays connected to it via a smart array 6400, with a total of 20TB.
Unfortunately, MSA20's are SCSI U320, and only supports 2TB logical drives. Will BE11d 64bit scream and go up in flames if I made all those 2TB partitions, DYNAMIC, and SPANNED them all to create 1x 20TB logical drive
? Then used that logical drive as my main backup to disk folder?
Any alternatives to combining those drives into 1x 20TB drive is welcomed. I just would rather not have 10x 2TB drives to have to manage folders on.
Thanks
Scott
