BE 11d 7170 - Exchange 2007 Backup issues

Backing up Exchange Server 2007, media server on separate Windows 2003 Server.
 
Following installation of hotfixes SP1,11,22,24,26 to cure numerous issues I now have a problem where individual mailbox restore does not work.
 
I was getting the 'install MAPI package 06.05.7888 or later' error before installing the 'BEClass.dll' patch which cures the error message.  However it just does that, the actual individual mailbox backup still does not happen!
 
Please help!  As per the other comments on this board - this product is driving me mad!

Have you re-installed the agent?

Yes, after installing the patches.  It appears that's whats screwed everything up!

Did you also replace the BEClass.dll patch on the Exchange servers after upgrading the client?
