BE 16 service issue

Hi,
we have install BE`16 on a server 2012 R2 and we have  Dell PowerVault TL2000 Tape Library.

now we see that redomly the The Backup Exec Server service terminated unexpectedly.

also before the this service crashs we see this error in the application logs:

A process crash has been detected.　

Faulting application: beserver.exe 16.0.1142.1327

Faulting module: KERNELBASE.dll 6.2.9200.22141

Fault offset 0x8e8c

Exception code 0xe0434352.

we have already removed the BE16 from the server and reinstll it.

Any idea why this service crashs?

Morning Shahin,

You need to look at other applications such as an antivirus scan that might be stopping the service in question. I've had McAfee do that before.

Also run LiveUpdate and make sure all relevant patches have been installed.

If you still get the issue, it might be worth your while logging a call with Veritas...this is a common issue and has very broad solutions.
