BE 2010: Can I re-assosiate tape to allow overwrite?

Hi, just a question - if I have previously used a tape in the Keep Data Indefinitely- Do Not Overwrite media set, but want to reclaim it for use, can I just stick it in the Scratch media set?  It's the weekend and I don't want to advise a user to come onsite to swap a tape if thi scannot be done, so I can't test this myself t find out.

Yes. You can do so.  Once you associate the tape with the scratch media set, it immediately becomes overwritable.
