BE 2012 schedule

Hi,

Under BE2012 schedule option "keep the job scheduled for 240 hours before is is rescheduled"

Should we change this value  as per the calendar, lets say we want to run the job every day except saturday and sunday .

Should i set the value here to 24 hours.

I didnt understand why do we have to use it, if we are setting the dates when the backup job should run in the calendar?

This setting determines how long the job will wait in a queue until it is cancelled and rescheduled according to your schedule settings e.g. the next hour/evening/week etc.

In the past customers asked for a way to keep a single instance of a job queued for longer than 24 hours whilst still able to start running if target devices became available. This was not possible in the older versions fo BE and is an enhancement for BE 2012
