BE10: Need to change resource credentials for backup

Isaac_Grover
Not applicable
Greetings from Wisconsin,

One of my consulting clients has BE10 running daily, weekly, and monthly backups on W2K with two remote agents also on W2K.

The problem is that I need to change the resource credentials for these backup jobs, but I'm having difficulty doing so.

So, in job monitor, I click on any of the three jobs, click properties, and I get a dialog box saying "You cannot edit a job that was created by a policy." Click OK, then click on resource credentials, I highlight each of the two remote servers, change the logon account, then back out to Test All, all tests successful, but the Submit button is grayed out.

How can I change the resource credentials for these three backup jobs?

Thank you in advance,

Hello,

You can do a right click on the job created with a policy, then choose the tab 'edit selection list'. There you can edit the resource credentials as per your need and then run the job.

Revert if you still have doubts on this functionality.

Regards.
