BE12 - Backup of Microsoft Information Store with encryption does not work

well, the backup works, but the information is not encrypted despite software encryption being selected.  No errors are received (except to say that the backup was successful).

The backup device is a removable device/removebale Backup-to-Disk folder.

The resore works perectly but does not request that an encryption key is created(I have deleted the key).  The information is accessible to all despite encryption being selected at backup.

Backups of other files with encryption works fine (it is just the information store which appears to have the issue) 

Can anyone tell me how I encrypt the information store?

I am going to assume that BE12 will not perfrom an encrypted backup of the Microsoft Information Store when the destination is a Backup-to-disk folder.

A tad disappointing as the issue was recognised in 11d.  More disappointing that you don't get a message to tell you that the data has not been encrypted (the backup appears successful).

A cynic might assume that the developers have supressed the error encountered in 11d, rather than fix the issue???
