BE12 and agent for Exchange 2007

Hello!

I have Backup Exec 12 installed on a Server 2003StdR2 SP2. I'm not able to remote install agent for Exchange 2007 SP1. In the end of install, after credential entering, BE say: "Attempt to connect to server \\exchange failed with the following error:not enough memory to complete the operation". Exchange Server has 8Gb RAM(about 3Gb in use), Server with BE12 has 2Gb(about 0.5 in use).

I can install agent locally on Exchange server and mark in properties to connect to BE Server, but BE Server doesn't see him.

What could it be and how to change this situation?

Try adding the IP address of the Exchange server in backup selection under user defined selections. then see if you are able to browse and backup the server.

 

Note the error if you get one.

This problem had solved. I try to backup Exchange by another way. I created a new job and browsed source to exchange server, and founded Information Stores! Backup conpleted without errors. Why agent install finished whith error - this is riddle for me? but now it doesn't matter:-)
