BE2010 backup ESXi 4.1 problem

I have a problem when connect ESXi server, actually I don't have vCenter server.

Is it sufficient to backup ESXi system and VM after install the agent for vmware vi on BE server and ESXi?

Where can I download the agent trial verion?

You dont download anything.  You install the features you need, and don't put in a license key for said features.  This enables that feature to be in trial mode.  

How many guests will you have running on that host?  If it's less than 4, there is no point in getting the VMware agent, just use the regular remote agents for windows/linux.

Thanks, so that means if more than 4 VMs running esxi server, we only need to purchase the VMware agent, right?

Do I need to update ESXi to get vStorage API?
