BEXEC and RAL w/ LINUX questions

Hello all,

1. Using RAL can Backup Exec select which directories to specifically backup?
2. Using RAL can Backup Exec run Linux applications before and after a backup begins/end?
3. Using RAL can Backup Exec perform a full backup on a single directory and also perform an incremental backup on a different directory?
4. Why do we currently perform a full backup every night? I think I may be missing some knowledge.
