BU hangs in Queued State, Doesn't Show Device Name in Job

Have been performing nightly backups to a REV drive without trouble for some time but, since a reboot last night, have found that our jobs are hanging in a queued state and going nowhere. Here's the situation:

* The device is recognized in BU Exec as far as I can tell - not offline
* Have stopped and started services with no luck
* The REV drive is enabled for BU Exec
* Tried KB 248709 but there are no .lck files to delete
* Tried KB 191594 but the server is not paused

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,

There are various reasons for the job remaining in the queued state.

As you are using the device as REV drive, are you using IOMEGA REV ATAPI drive?

If it is so, Iomega Rev Atapi drive is an external USB hard drive and is supported by BE v 9.1.

You can utilize USB hard drives via feature known as Removable Backup-to-Disk folder.

Iomega REV ATAPI DRIVE can be used as a "Removable Backup to Disk Folder".
You can create removable backup-to-disk folders on any removable device, provided the device appears as a drive letter and is formatted with a file system.

In order to configure a removable backup to disk folder refer to the following technote: -

Can you format the drive?
If yes, then you can follow the steps given below:-

1.Delete the backup to disk folder
2.Format the drive
3.Recreate the backup to disk folder
4.And run the backup job.
