Backing up Exchange to a file

Hi,

Our tape drive has stopped working and therefore we need to start backing up our exchange to a file/folder on the servers hard drive.

We currently have:

VERITAS backup exec ver. 9.1

What is the version of Exchange.

Veritas 9.1 is no more supported by Symantec.

You need to create a Backup to disk folder from the device Tab pointing to the Local Drive.

From the Job select the destination device to be the backup to disk folder and run the job

 

Note: You need to ensure to have enough disk space to place the backup in the drive

Though it is for 12.5, this applies to 9.1 as well.
