Backing up a live Exchange 2010 enviroment

I know in the past that some backup software companies sold separate moduled software that allowed for backing up open databases. Can Backup Exec backup a live Exchange 2010 database with current features or is there a module I'm needing\missing?

BE 2010 or BE 2012 can backup Exchange 2010. All you need is an agent license on top of the base BE license
