Backing up the CPS Server

Can The CPS server backup itself in any way?

Or do I have to back up this server with standard BUE?

What about environments with only one server?

Is it Recomended to make the CPS server a workstation?

CPS works on a replication model and you cannot have the source and the destination as the same.

The server that is running CPS cannot back it self up and you will need to protect the server with BEWS.

In a single server environment you can use Backup Exec System Recovery 8.0  that is capable of backing up Exchange,SPS etc too.
