Hello the problem shows as follows ,
An englisch W2003 Server with an englisch Backup Exec 11 installed on it should save some Files and Folders which are saved in cyrylic characters.
The problem is that the englisch Backup Exec dont know the cyrylic characters and therefore it change the cyrylic names in long, strange File and Foldernames ( example : [7435332&[35282$934(3432144/32.doc ).
The first Problem are the long names and the second important thing is that backup exec backup the wrong renamed File and Foldernames . In the case of an restore these restored names are not readable for the user.
Is there a chance for an solution for this problem ?
