Backup Exec 10.1d and Exchange Server 2003

I've installed a new Exchange 2003 Server Enterprise Edition. I upgraded from version 9 of the BE to Version 10. The Media server is a Windows 2003 server (No SP1)

I installed the Remote agent onto the Exchange server (windows 2003 server sp1 installed), and have put the Exchange License into the media server.

At the moment, I can't see the information store, public folders or the mailboxes.
I've set the Restrict Anoynomous to 1 on both systems.

Any help, most appricated.

Thanks
Colin

Hi,

I tried those links you provided. What I know see is just a grayed out Information Store listed, but nothing else. I can't see any mailboxes or public folders.

Not sure what to do next.

Thanks Colin

I managed to figure out what the problem was.
There was some host entries still pointing to the old mail server name (hosts file in etc folder).
There were also some old manually entered DNS enteries, when again were still pointing to the old name.
I also removed an entry in the services file which was point ndmp traffic to port 9000.

Here's the article that helped me figure it out.
