Backup Exec 10d for Windows Servers / Small Business Server Suite
On 11/4/07, when Daylight Savings Time - DST - ended, the existing job "shifted" to one hour later.
This posed a huge problem with several Servers running a job at 11PM, as it shifted to 12AM (effectually starting 23 hours earlier) = Sun thru Thurs, instead of Mon thru Fri
most Servers, I had to "hold the job", edit the job time, then release from hold
Over the years, there have always been issues with Backup Exec and DST, most of the time, relating to notification being "un-checked" - I still saw this on several installations
Why can't the updates resolve these issues???
Is there a fix or work-around???
