We have Backup Exec 11d with Service Pack4 and Hot Fixes 62 and 64 installed. It is running on SBS2003.
From time to time (usually but not always after a problem with a tape) settings on the scheduled jobs are changed. The ones that I notice and change back are:
Destination>Device and Media - Maximum number of devices to use for resources that support multiple data streams: Changes from 1 to 0.
Destination>Device and Media - Maximum number of devices, terminate job if fewer devices are available: Changes from 1 to 0.
Settings>General - Compression type: Changes from Hardware [if available, otherwise none] to None.
Settings>Notification - is deselected so no notifications are sent.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and is their a fix?
