Hi
Backup exec 12.5 does not use SLF file please contact licensing as this licenses are for BE2012 contact them to downgrade your licenses to 12.5

Else if you are not looking to downgrade the licenses you can use the SLf files when you install BE2012 ,to download BE2012 please check link below

There is no expiration to Backup Exec Software licenses, whereas support does have validity. Is that (Support/maintenance) what you purchased or renewed now?

...just continue using your current licenses unless you purchased another new agent. In this case, ask for a downgrade to the BE 12.5 version of said agent.
Thanks!

I've contacted symantec for the downgrade. I'm able to renew the license already. Thanks
