I'm sure that to backup MS Exchange 2010 you require Backup Exec 2010 running on a 64bit OS i.e. Windows Server 2008 R2. I need a Symantec KB article to say that Backup Exec 12.5 will NOT backup MS Exchange 2010 but I cannot find a definitive answer from Symantec's KB to support this. Does anyone know where I can find one?
Many Thanks

Software compaitibility List Of 12.5 will list you ONLY the supported Platforms
There wont be an article That will state Platform It is not supported.

Thank you for your help. Do you have a URL for the 12.5 software compatibility list.
Many Thanks

Hi,
You're actually looking for the BE 2010 SCL on the link below. Go to the section on databases, and look for Exchange 2010. It will show you the requirements needed in order to back it up.

Apart from the SCLs, here are couple of KB articles:
Backup Exec must be installed on a 64-bit machine to backup Exchange 2010 - http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH126204
