Backup Exec 2010 R3 & Amazon S3

Hi Guys
My company is looking at using Amazon S3 to offsite data for DR. We currently use backup exec 2010 R3 to backup to tape & disk onsite.

Can anyone give any recommendations on what we could use. Any ideas on how we could use backup exec to achieve this even if its not with Amazon S3.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Typically for Cloud Storage, there needs to be an account to with the cloud service provider....a cloud plugin needs to be installed on the BE server...and then using the configure storage wizard, you can configure the cloud storage device which can be used for off-site backups...

EDIT*** I don't think S3 is listed as a supported cloud storage with Backup Exec (it is with NBU 7.5 though)

Nirvanix I do believe works and is supported.  Look at the latest HCL, it lists them all.

Alternatively there are companies like SunGuard that use DataDomain to provide this service.  You can lease or buy the boxes and services from them.
