FATAL ERROR: Error 1406. Could not write value AdammLocal to key \Software\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Server. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Are you Trying to upgrade Backup Exec or is it a fresh install?

Which account are you using for the installation? Does it have enough permission on the \Software\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Server so that it can create AdammLocal?

Did you try to create DWORD value AdammLocal and set it to 0 at \Software\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\Server and proceed with the installation?
