I had found an old thread asking this but there was no reponse.

Please could anyone explain the "Detail Job Type" field is displaying results such as 200, 600, and 1000.

I have been sent dome job reports but they seem to have multiple entries for hte same job.  Maybe they are parent/child processes but it is driving my mad now knowing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Andy

When running a report, ideally the "Detail Job Type" values should be translated from numbers to strings.

200 refers to backups, 600 refers to restores and 1000 refers to the verify operation.

just wondering if you change the default report type from HTML to Pdf, does that make a difference?

see pg704 of the Backup Exec 2010 Admin Guide  http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC4855

unfortunately not onsite any more.  it seems strange that there is not a docuemnt that explains something so simple from a report.
