We have scheduled weekly and monthly backup jobs for mondays, and rely on the monthly-supersedes-weekly rule to avoid running two backups the last monday of the month. This worked effectively for a long time, but suddenly weekly jobs in the middle of the month started being superseded even when no other job was scheduled for that day (see screenshot below).
Any ideas? I've checked the template, the rules, schedule and policy and everything seems to be just fine.
Is there a way to check why a job was superseded to try and debug this?

...this can happen if another job was scheduled to run but either didn't, or ran over its alloted time.
I have found a restart of the services normally clears this up. Have you tried that?
