Backup Exec 2012 won't delete previous backups on USB drive

Situation
Windows 2011 SBS Server with Symantec Backup Exec 2012 running.
Backup written on USB disks. 5 disks wich were changed every day. One disk has enough space for 1 full backup.
Seperate job for every day
Retention periode 4 days

Problem
We have to delete every day the previous backup set manualy backup backup exec won;t do this for us

Solution all ready treid

In addition to what collin said...please check the over write protection period if it is set to 1 day that means the opp will start when job completes thus eg.if job starts at 7 nd completes at 10 than opp will start at 10 and not 7...this could be one of the reason for backup exec to not overwrite sets automatically...

As the OP is doing Backup 2 disk (USB) and using BE 2012 the OPP (which is a media set thing and not a DLM thing) does not apply
