Backup Exec 2014 Logon without Account

Hello,

Please move this if it is in the wrong forum,

I have Server 2008 R2 (64) with Symantec Backup Exec 2014 single server.  The server is a domain controller, Backup Exec 2014 is only backing up local server drive.  No other servers.

I have a requirement to lockdown server, in services I have changed all BackupExec Services from \DOMAINNAME\BACKUPEXEC user to 'Local System' and BE opens fine, once in BackupExec 2014 jobs will not run.

Is there a way to remove the System Logon Account from using a domain and use name and use a local service or any other method?  Or does BackupExec 2014 on use a Domain Name to backup jobs?

Thanks

b.

The BESA needs to be a domain administer, especially since you are backing up AD. See this document http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH36718

Ok, I just ran through two weeks worth of lockdowns and it was

Group Policy,

User Rights Assignments

Windows

Security Settings

User Rights Assignments

"Log on as a batch job"

So, is there a way to have jobs run NOT logged on as a batch job

Thanks
