Hey guys, I'm new to this. I read the forums and posts all the time, but I've never posted anything before. Anyways, I am running Backup Exec 2014 on a Windows 2008 Server. It is backing up itself and 5 addtional Windows servers. It first backs all the data up to a SAN then duplicates it to a Tape Drive for off-site storage. I have it set up to run as individual jobs for each server, because I found it runs much faster this way. Everything is running great. The question I have is, is there any way to change the order that the individual servers are backed up? I have tinkered with the 'Priority' settings a little. Is this my only option? Thanks in advance.

The document referenced earlier teaches you how to order resources within a job.
In order to order your job, just stagger them slightly. For example, Job 1 starts at 2100, Job 2 starts at 2101 and so on. Better still, schedule the next job to start after the previous job has completed. This way you avoid resource contention.

Ok, I'll give this a try and see how it works. Thanks for the response.
