Yes. If you are just backing it up, but you need at least Server 2003 R2 if you want to load BE on to it

Backup Exec was loaded successfully, but Iam getting exceptions, below is the message I am getting.

The job completed successfully. However, the following conditions were encountered: The Backup Exec Remote Agent on the resource does not support the option to enable the restore of individual items. A backup was run, but you will not be able to restore individual items from this backup set.

Just adding to the above comment, Win 2003 must be updated with SP2 for compatibility with BE 2014.
