Hola!
Speaking about the SQL Server agent, is it possible to use the agent to recovery the database to any point in time using the transaction logs of the database (besides of the backed up logs)?... for example: A full database backup is run daily at 11pm and also transaction logs are backed up at the middle of the day 1pm. The database is corrupted at 9pm...
Using the Backup Exec, I can restore the database until 1pm with the last full and transaction logs backups. The agent for SQL can be use as an utility to recover the database until the moment before the corruption occured, using the transaction logs generated since the last backup? I mean, the agent has the capability of roll back the database transaction logs even if these are not backed up yet? The agent is integrated with SQL databases at this level?
Thanks & Regards,
