Backup Exec Agent for Sharepoint 2010

As a Microsoft Software Assurance customer I recently installed SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise edition doing an in-place upgrade to SharePoint 2007. The installed Backup Exec Agent for Sharepoint fails to recognise the servers in the farm producing a Server Credentials error message. What is the timeframe for the update of the agent. I have Media Server ver 13.0 rev 2896.

Hi there,

There is a 60-day trial license for the Sharepoint agent (as with any other agent). 60 days after "installing" it, it expires and you won't be able to backup Sharepoint.
If you have it installed, push out the RAWS agent to the Sharepoint server and try again.
if it still doesn't work, post the error here for further investigation.
