Backup Exec Enterprise Server Option

Hi Everyone,

I want to renew this license Backup Exec Option Shared Storage 12.5 and quantity: 2, I know The mapping SKU for Option Shared Storage in BE 2012 is SYMC BACKUP EXEC 2012 ENTERPRISE SERVER OPTION.

- But I read the detail of SYMC BACKUP EXEC 2012 ENTERPRISE SERVER OPTION, it says: “Each Enterprise Server Option, licensed per managed Backup Exec environment, gives you unlimited access to the Backup Exec Advanced Disk-Based Backup Option, Backup Exec Central Admin Server Option and Backup Exec SAN Shared Storage Option”

Can anyone tell me I need one renewal license of  Enterprise Server Option for 2 license of Backup Exec Option Shared Storage 12.5?

You should check with Symantec Licencing.  They are the final authority on licencing matters.

Seperate SSO licenses are no more required. One Enterprise Server option will be sufficient.

that is correct, only one license is needed and will cover all Mediaservers
