Backup Exec Error beim Sichern einer Exchange 2010 Datenbank

Hallo Community,

seit einigen Tagen erhalten wir eine Fehlermeldung beim Sichern einer Exchange 2010 Datenbank: Der VSS Writer ist fehlgeschlagen, der Vorgang kann jedoch wiederholt werden (0x800423f3), Status: Stabil (1).

Die anderen Datenbanken, die auf dem selben Server liegen, werden allerdings korrekt gesichert.

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen? Das Betriebssystem ist Server 2012.

Hallo Florian, der Windows Server 2012 wird im Moment noch nicht Supportet und da dürfte das Problem liegen. Siehe Software Kompatibilitäts Liste: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH175581 Die Unterstützung des Windows Server 2012 wird mit der R2 Version von Backup Exec 2012 kommen. Hello Florian,

   You have mentioned that "Das Betriebssystem ist Server 2012." which means "Operating System is Server 2012. I assume you mean that it is Windows Server 2012.

AS of now Backup Exec does not support Windows Server 2012. So the backups you are running are in Unsupported configuration.

Hallo Michael,

dass Server 2012 nicht offiziell supportet wird, ist mir bekannt. Ich würde es auch verstehen, wenn die Sicherung überhaupt nicht funktionieren würde. Bei uns ist es aber so, dass zwei Mailbox-Datenbanken gesichert werden und nur eine eben nicht. Daher denke ich nicht, dass es am Betriebssystem liegt?!

...the underlying structure is Windows Server 2012. If you log a call with Symantec, you're unsupported. It doesn't matter if it is Exchange 2010 on top of that as the OS COULD actually be affecting this in some way.

Michael Floeck is quite correct in this regard...

Hi@all!

a restart of the Exchange-Servers probably solved the Problem! The Backup works correctly now! However I re-installed the Backup Server with Server 2008 R2 to exclude further errors.
