Hi guys,
We have installed remote agent for windows servers on our new Windows 2008 Server (Datacenter Edition) a few days ago.
This server is our file server.
Later on that day we got complaints from users "we cannot save any files, the system froze etc".
After checking the server we found that since the agent was installed, the system kept freezing completely, with a very high CPU and hard disks activity.
We had to remove the agent - once removed, the problem was resolved.
This behaviour occured even without the backup running ! It happened just after installing the agent.
We are using BE 12.5, the BE itself is installed on a server which has Windows 2003 Server Standard edition.
The file server, which got completely stuck has 4 GB of RAM and a CPU Intel core 2 Duo, 3.00 GHZ. As mentioned before, it's Windows 2008 Server - Datacenter Edition.
Is there any hotfix for this issue?
I'ts very critical!
Thank you.
