The Backup Exec Server service will not start it gets hung in the starting stage. I have to go into task manager and kill the beserver.exe process in order to reset it. It was working until about 2 weeks ago then it stopped. I am not sure what would have caused it to stop working. I am running Windows Server 2003 SP2. I am using Backup Exec 10d for Windows Server SP4. I have tried repairing the install. I have tried setting permissions in dcomcnfg. I have reinstalled the MDAC. I have uninstalled Backup Exec 10d and completely reinstalled. I renamed the catalogs folder. I am not sure what else to do.
