Backup Exec Tape Drive issue

When we had less data to backup to tape, I could put two tapes in our Autoloader and Backup Exec 11 RU6 would back up to Tape 1 and when that was full move on to Tape 2. Pretty simple, huh.

Well, with more data, I have to now use three tapes. My problem is that no matter what I do, Backup Exec ALWAYS BEGINS with the tape in slot 3, then goes to slot 2, and then 1.  How do I get it to go 1, 2, 3.....?

Assuming that the same three tapes will always be used in a given backup

load all three tapes

label slot 1
label slot 2
label slot 3

Make sure that they are re-loaded in the same slots

(BackupExec will attempt to use the media with the oldest allocation date first)
