Backup Exec: VMware Agent Licensing question

Hi Team,

Is it possible to transfer a BE2012 VMware agent license from an ESX server (eg. esx1) to another ESX server (eg. esx2)?

If yes, what about the images of esx1: these can be restored also without license for this esx (no more backup are required for this server) or do we need to license also esx1 to enable restores?

Yes. You can transfer the license. Just make sure you don't backup the old server anymore You can restore thee backups of the old server but not to the old server. You got to redirect the restores to the new server
