I need to test the VTL. How i download and test the VTL for Backup Exec 2014

You just need to enable the VTL option in the BE console and you can test your VTL. Click on the BE button then click on Installation and Licencing and "install Options and Licenses on this Backup Exec Server" to do so.

ensure VTL is compatible, (refer HCL http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=tech214803) 

If yes, enable virtual tape library support from BE icon -> Installation and Licensing -> Install options and licenses on this backup server

Once detected by the OS , BE should detect it and you should be able to test it.
