Hi Everyone,
After installing the latest rollup 4 for exchange, I'm receiveing this error:
V-79-57344-33928 - Access Denied. Cannot backup directory Mailbox Database and its subdirectories.
I've seen Symantec's article about correct permissions specific to the backup exec mailbox and user in AD. All the permissions are correct.
Running Exchange 2007 and Backup Exec 12.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you talking about this Rollup 4 for Exchange 2007 SP3?

BE 12 only support up to SP1. See the SCL below

Make sure to install the same version (service pack & rollup pack) of the Exchange 2007 Management tools on your Backup Exec server as on the Exchange server.

My BE server and Exchange server is one and the same.
PKH - am I reading you correctly... BE 12 only supports up to exchange 07 RU1?

According the SCL, BE 12 only support up till Exchange 2007 SP1 (Service Pack 1), not RU1 (Rollup 1). Rollups are different from Service Packs.

Check this technote:
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH52420
maybe it is a disabled account that is causing problems.
----- If a user's account has been disabled, Backup Exec is unable to get the information for that user's mailbox from Active Directory and an Access is Denied error is returned.------
